About Me:: Sarah Serag is a macro economist who works as a lecturer of Economics at Sadat Academy for management sciences after finishing her PhD at Ain Shams university. Her area of expertise is in food security and other issues that are directly related to the state of food security; such as, agricultural economics, water issues, in addition to climate change. Furthermore, she is interested in working on other economic development issues and poverty reduction policies. In addition to her research interests, she has an experience in teaching university undergraduates since 2008. She is also a BIARI alumna (Brown International Advanced Research Institutes) that is adopted by Brown University in the USA and aims at developing an international network between distinguished researchers. Currently, Sarah is working on developing new skills related to using advanced econometric techniques and learning new programming languages
